If you - or someone you care for - has cancer, there's no need to feel alone. There are many people who can give you the help, advice and support you need.

Here, you can search our database to find national and local organisations and self-help groups. These too will be able to give you information. Many of them run phone helplines and produce a wide range of leaflets and booklets, often on quite specific topics. Some even have panels of experts who can answer more difficult queries.

The Macmillan Support Line  0808 808 0000 is available Monday to Friday 9.00am - 8.00pm. and also provides contact numbers for out of hours help. The same helpline can connect you to an interpreter who can answer your questions in your own language if you prefer. Over 200 languages are available.

Many organisations have their own websites with information on cancer and related subjects, as well as details of the latest research going on in their area of interest.
