Your GP, hospital doctors and other health professionals are there to support you, and to give you information. They are the only people who can tell you more about your particular cancer and its treatment. It is part of their job to talk to you, so feel free to ask them questions.
Your cancer team may have a lung cancer or other nurse specialist who is an expert in helping people with your type of cancer.

Pleural Mesothelioma An advocacy group that assists patients and families suffering from asbestos-related diseases. They provide informational books and packets and access to local support groups. They help patients find the best doctors and treatment centres in their area. All services are free of charge.

Ridings Asbestos Support & Awareness Group (RASAG)
RASAG runs the National Mesothelioma Helpline (see separate entry above). Their website has information on asbestos-related diseases and hosts a discussion forum. The Group produce free booklets about mesothelioma.
Asbestos.com is an authority on asbestos exposure and mesothelioma information. The Mesothelioma Center works with individuals and their families and provides free informational resources.
