The North of England Cancer Network (NECN) is the exciting partnership of primary, secondary and specialist palliative care across the 3 Strategic Health Authorities of the North East. Formed by the integration of the Northern Cancer Network and the Cancer Care Alliance in 2007, the North of England Cancer Network serves a population of approximately 3 million. Driven by the Cancer Reform Strategy, Cancer Peer Review and other Department of Health guidance, the Network aims to offer the highest quality, equitable care to all patients in a seamless and accessible pathway.
